We have been fortunate to have visiting Folk artists Martín Ramírez and Miriam Castañeda join us for cross curricular Dia de los Muertos workshops. Spanish and Art classes work together with the visiting artists to create a variety of Mexican paper crafts in celebration of Dia de los Muertos. In 2013, we partnered with The Goggleworks Center for the Arts to bring these workshops to the Reading community and their after school programs.
